It has come to our attention that claims have been circulated regarding the personal integrity of Grounded Boots Relief’s leadership. In the interest of transparency and accountability, and as part of our routine vetting process for leadership and select volunteers, a formal background check was conducted on President John S. Badger.
With John’s full permission, we are releasing the results, which confirm that there is no record of domestic violence or any criminal history. Any statements suggesting otherwise are without merit and demonstrably false.
Grounded Boots Relief takes matters of integrity seriously. We hope this clarification will put the issue to rest so we can continue focusing on our mission of service and community resilience.
