Crisis Responses

Major storms and flooding can overwhelm communities long before outside help arrives. Grounded Boots Relief activates rapidly when disasters strike, deploying small trained teams to assess conditions, report verified information, and support early response efforts. Our work focuses on reconnaissance, communication, and limited delivery of essential supplies when access is restricted. Below, you can see how our crisis response operations function in real time.

Our Primary Areas of Assistance

Grounded Boots Relief responds to disasters across a broad region, with a crisis response range that extends up to 500 miles from our headquarters in Hendersonville, North Carolina. This radius allows us to reach communities throughout the Southeast that are facing immediate post-disaster needs and lack timely support. By operating within this defined range, we can deploy quickly, communicate effectively with local partners, and ensure our assessments and assistance arrive when they are most useful.
